Specializing in equine, pet, family, portrait, and event photography, blending creativity with technical expertise I can remember back to when I received my first book on Photography, a gift from my brother - I still have it. My passion for Photography goes way back and I have had many cameras over the years and have many thousands of captured images. I enjoy a diverse mix of photography, from Lan

dscape to Lifestyle, Sports and Action to Nature and Wildlife. Over the past number of years, I have developed my skills and honed in on my love of horses. There is just something about a horse that draws you in, the beauty and the power. I love capturing those moments between a horse and their rider - the personalities, the connection, the love and their commitment, all of these come through in an image. I am committed and passionate in what I do and I believe this shows in my work. I spend a lot of time focusing on the editing of my images, as I enjoy putting out images that are in line with my work ethic and standards. I love animals (probably more so than most) and have developed a deep passion for horses. Allowing me to capture you with your beautiful equine soulmate, will give me so much joy, as it allows you to hold onto a treasured memory, captured forever, in an instant.

Usually I would try to get everyone in both warm up and main test but it was just too hectic with light and to edit between the two arenas is a logistical nightmare.

What a superbly run and put together show this past weekend, The Western Cape Interclub Dressage Challenge, held at Europa Equestrian.

Miki and her team, Jamie, Jade, Lauren, judges, scribes, ground crew, and all the other amazing people behind the scenes. Such a wonderful vibe and some amazing riding.

The morning was awful with the mist covering everything, but a jam-packed day with a super vibe and great riding.

Well done Jamie Behrens Equestrian JBE Jade Deacon and Lauren Alexandra Miller and team for putting this all together.

It’s been a very long day and I only managed to get to editing from just after lunchtime due to other commitments. I have pushed to get done for you all as I know the excitement is real 🤣

Long (and warm) couple of days for the Western Cape leg of the DSA Challenge, with a good 2000+ images to sort and edit.

Well done to everyone, some really great riding and such an honour to capture you all with your beautiful four-legged partners.

I’ll be putting out some teasers from both days a little later this evening and hoping to get all of Saturday’s images up by tomorrow afternoon and Sunday’s by Tuesday.
