Real Talk to both photographers and clients: AI is not going to take over photography. Not all photography. It will replace some photography tasks I'm sure but for those of us who are creating a true memory for our clients, you cannot replace, mimic, or AI that experience.

We are photographers and we make portraits, but more than that we create MEMORIES that can be shared year after year, they live on our client's walls and in their hearts. A computer program cannot do THAT.

To all the photographers out there, you are a super hero creating a tangible memory even when our own memories start to fade with age. You are creating legacy and you are important to the world, even the modern world. Your clients are having fun right now playing with AI but when it comes to the real memories, the moments that matter they will still come looking for YOU.

Hug a photographer, it's been a long year with many uncertainties but it's not the end of photography.
