Remember how hard the Cape Flats and townships across SA were hit by Covid?

Like alchemy, from the hardships arose the magic of community, love, and feeding schemes. At one of the schemes assisted, Hlengisa Primary School in Nyanga presented us with a unique welcome. What appeared as a war cry soon grew into the sounds of african drums, soporano vocals, and an apparent lead performer. It isn't a wonder that we have some of the best dancers and performers globally. If depression is the opposite of expression, then our arts and storytelling is entrenched with real pain. But see how we move! Ons is gervaalik.

There is nothing like a South African welcome!
