Happy to have had the opportunity to complete this rather intense 8-week photography course through MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art in New York) over the lockdown period. Thank you to Sarah Meister the curator of Photography at MoMA for your patience and help with all my questions. It has been great working with you. At least was good for something!

Deon TerBlanche is an accredited photojournalist documenting COVID-19 becoming part of the history of Parys. He is taking home portraits and photographing businesses etc. to show how the people of Parys are coping with the . He asks participants for messages of hope and encouragement to share with fellow citizens and people all over the world.

So many people in Parys have nagged me for PROFESSIONAL STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY. We never really had space for a studio, but this year Zander moved out to attend varsity. So, due to popular demand, we shuffled the house around a bit, and I was able to set up a proper photographic studio. And this was the first photo taken at my new studio. Don't worry; it was before .

If you require professional studio photographs in PARYS, I specialise in products, creative portraits, website, social media, corporate headshots and modelling portfolios. My studio in Westcliff, Jozi is still open for business (once the lockdown has been lifted,) should that be easier for you to attend.

I won a photo competition hosted by the "Art of Print" and I could have something printed by them. I chose a DiaMount®. The print is printed onto fine art paper and then mounted. DiaMount® is an innovative method to mount the face of the photo to acrylic with special UV inhibited silicone rendering a high gloss appearance and 3D-like effect enriched with vibrant colours and deep blacks. Thank you to Tammy and the team at the Art of Print for your exceptional service and attention to detail. I highly recommend them! DiaMounts are notoriously difficult to photograph :-)

“I was commissioned by Deon TerBlanche for a rebrand. Deon is a creative that works in many fields and it was a challenge to create a logo and branding that “contains” him. He mostly does art installations and photography where he constructs art from virtually nothing. I created this “broken triangle” logo mark to imply this process of construction. Because Deon “is” the brand I created a logo using his name. To further elevate his unique style and extreme creativity the letters in the logo were shaped randomly with “missing” components to further enhance his brand and the way in which he sees things differently.”
