Mr & Mrs Duthie 💖 21 March 2026
I’ve been part of a lot of weddings, and every one is special in its own way… but this one felt really close to perfect 🥰
And the wild part? This wasn’t even planned. The idea came up while I was having dinner with my friend Aimee the Tuesday before. By Wednesday, Lei had messaged me, and by 4pm we were sitting together having tea and chatting all things wedding.
I always try get to know my brides before the day. I never want it to feel like there’s just some random person in the corner with a camera — it should feel easy and natural. Most of the time, by the wedding day, there’s already a bit of a friendship there.
Lei and I went to check out some spots for their formals, and what started as a “quick coffee” turned into meeting the whole family. That’s when everything just clicked.
The night before the wedding was Lei’s birthday, and she invited me along. I got to meet her closest friends and properly hang with Jack. We ended up playing pool on the same team… and won (very important detail).
By the time the wedding day came around, it honestly felt like I’d known them for ages. They’re the kind of people you just feel good around — Lei is pure sunshine, and Jack will have you laughing nonstop.
I can’t wait to share more from their day, but for now here’s a little sneak peek 🤍
Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Duthie 💖
