Hold on Jason Kilian đ€
Two days before Jason left on his Epic endurance ride, I packed one of my small Door of Hope blocks into his bag with these words on it:
âHOLD ON.â
I had already packed his bag â
filled with everything he would need for the ride.
Pain plasters, electrolytes, energy bars, biltong etc. âŠ
I closed it. Wrapped it. Done.
And then half an hour later something made me open it againâŠ
just to add one small block that said:
HOLD ON.
I didnât understand it then. Because the words should have said, hold out, instead of hold on.
I do now.
Jason is currently fighting hard.
His body is tired, but his spirit is strong.
Right now, he is doing exactly this â
Holding on.
Can we please lift him up in prayer, together?
Pray with me.
Father God,
You are the God of miracles.
The Father who sees beyond what we see - the Creator who knows the full picture.
The One who holds Jason's life in Your hands, carefully.
Today we lift Jason up to You, Lord.
Breathe healing into his lungs.
Clear every infection.
Strengthen his body.
Calm his heart.
Restore every cell, every system, every function.
Touch his brain with Your healing hand â
bring clarity, restoration, and full recovery in Your perfect timing.
Surround him with peace, even in his rest.
Let him feel that he is not alone. (This part is really important, Jesus)
That he is held.
That he is loved.
That You are near.
Give strength to his family.
Wrap them in Your comfort.
Also to his close friends. Everyone that loves him.
Carry them when they are tired.
And remind all of us â
with You, nothing is impossible!
We choose faith over fear.
We choose hope over doubt.
Jason⊠your name means "Healer".
Your work on earth is not finished yet.
HOLD ON.
We are praying for you.
You are not alone â„ïž
Amen. đ€
