As creatives we need to create, to show the world a glimpse of what we feel. It’s very much like holding up a mirror, albeit most of the time full of cracks and tarnished edges, but none the less we feel the need to show. To create we need inspiration, a muse if you will. I feel this need every day. The need to create and express. But somewhere along the way, between deadlines and a {really really really} full email inbox I get stuck in the slog. In this slog it feels like the colour drains away and I live in a grey world. It is in times like this I really need to be reminded to breathe. To live is easy, the hard part is to feel alive. In the following two weeks, I’m taking time to get out of my comfort zone, taking time to take things in and to feel alive. Time is one of my most valuable possessions and I’m spending it on the important things. On life.
