GOLOZA TOP 3 TOURNAMENT – ROUND ROBIN RECAP
The Goloza Top 3 Tournament delivered an exciting day of football, with three teams battling for the championship in a round-robin format.
The opening fixture saw Magenge FC produce a dominant performance, defeating Goloza Soccer Academy 3-1 to make a strong statement.
In the second match, Goloza Soccer Academy suffered another defeat, this time against Shilumani Football Academy, ending their hopes of lifting the trophy after two consecutive losses.
The tournament came down to a thrilling final clash between Magenge FC and Shilumani Football Academy. Both sides displayed determination and quality, with each team finding the back of the net in the dying minutes of the match to force a draw.
With the scores level at full-time, the champion had to be decided by a penalty shootout. Shilumani Football Academy held their nerve from the spot, emerging victorious to claim the Goloza Top 3 Tournament title.
