Northern Cape skies don’t often break. It’s the driest province in South Africa. But on Jacques & Azelda’s wedding day, they did, and it was beautiful!

We ran for cover under umbrellas, took some photos indoors, and waited out the storm. By the time it stopped, the light was gone, but the magic definitely wasn’t. So I improvised and we took to the fields with flash and made some of my favourite images of the entire day!

Days full of surprises always ends up to be the wedding galleries with the biggest varieties! So if it rains on your wedding day, try to embrace nature’s magic!
