If you’ve been wondering if it’s worth it to venture out into the unknown…

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is, yes, it really really is.
The core memories. The crunch of tyres. The thrill of adventure. The value and efficiency of great gear. The fish you lost and the fish you caught.

The warm coffee on frosty mornings. The sizzle of bacon and the “whoops, I broke your eggs.” The Guinness draughts and laughs at sunset. The sizzle of perfectly cooked steak with the smell of garlic and the sound of night owls.

This adventure, this is Africa, and this is why it is so worth venturing out into the unknown.

Just never do so unprepared.

There’s no way you’ll be truly successful if you keep this up.

STOP DOUBTING YOURSELF.

Some days, I’m completely convinced I would’ve been a multi $ millionaire by now if I had just learned to stop hating on myself earlier. 😂

Being your own biggest critic is personally debilitating, it’s one of the biggest killers of growth and great ideas.

It’s also a massive contributor to mental illness.

The bad: You’re the problem.
The good: You’re the solution.

The remedy:

Since we’re all unique, there isn’t a copy-paste solution. However, the mindset shift that really helps me is:

Face it head-on. Suck it up. Stop complaining. Get over it.

said something that stuck with me:

“If you can choose to be in a bad mood, you can also choose to be in a good mood.”

Start choosing to be confident instead of choosing to hate your own ideas.
