A Radiant November Photoshoot
On a glorious Saturday, November 23, 2024, we embarked on a challenging yet rewarding photographic adventure. Despite the notoriously harsh midday sun, we managed to capture stunning images that showcased the beauty of the day and our subjects.
Location and Subjects
Duncan and Angeline were the stars of our shoot, their elegance accentuated by their carefully chosen attire. The couple's natural chemistry and stylish outfits added a touch of sophistication to every frame.
Our photoshoot unfolded in two distinct settings:
> 1. Laerskool Rapportryer: We began at this location, using the school's unique architecture and grounds as a backdrop.
> 2. Garden Setting: The second part of our session took place in a lush garden, providing a natural and romantic atmosphere.
Overcoming Midday Challenges
Shooting at midday presented its own set of challenges, particularly with harsh shadows and intense sunlight. However, we employed various techniques to create captivating images:
1. Seeking Shade: We utilized natural shade from buildings and trees to soften the light.
2. Reflectors: These tools helped us fill in shadows and create more balanced lighting on our subjects' faces.
3. Creative Positioning: We carefully positioned Duncan and Angeline to make the most of the available light.
The resulting photographs beautifully captured the essence of a South African summer day, showcasing not only the radiant couple but also the skill involved in overcoming difficult lighting conditions. This album stands as a testament to the power of creativity and technical expertise in photography, even in challenging circumstances.
