Because you get so much more opportunities to find sightings like these.

And when it comes to this cat, you have a very good chance of seeing her around the middle of the day as she moves around to look for food...

It was just after lunch when we found Motsamai the female leopard in Pilanesberg National Park, looking for some lunch of her own.

After stalking a herd of Impalas for more than 35 minutes, the wind suddenly switched and gave her location away.

At one stage she was less than 5 meters away from the impalas without being spotted!!

On one of my favorite and last roads I traversed on with my guests one late afternoon in Pilanesberg National Park, I stumbled upon a duo of lions at Tlou Dams on Tshukudu e'Ntsho Drive.

They unfortunately didn't drink BUT decided to walk directly towards us and kept on the road all the way to Tlou Drive.

The sun was nearly below the horizon, but a soft and wonderful glow in the remained and caught the lion's eye...

That gave us a precious few minutes and frames to capture some magic.

The soft golden glow of winter mornings can produce some extra magic on sightings.

How amazing is this light!!

We sat in awe as the whole pride walked past us and directly into the best light we could ever ask for :)

Some mornings start WAY better than others. The whole Central Pride walked right past my vehicle and had my guests in absolute awe of the sheer magnificence.

A lovely sighting this morning of Tale the female Cheetah in Pilanesberg National Park.

A incredible and yet rare sighting these days, as, we only have 2 Cheetahs in the whole 57 000 hectares of the Reserve.

What a way to spend the morning with my lovely guests 😊
