//RHINO DEHORNING

I had the oppurtunity to document a dehorning mission with the devoted Nkombe-Rhino team.
They successfully dehorned 2 Rhino's as an ongoing measure to plead life over death of this amazing specie.

This was my second time witnessing another responsible dehorning by Nkombe-Rhino with everyone involved treating this beast with the utmost respect, where the wellbeing of the Rhino is their nr.1 priority.

A humbling experience where your emotions can easily get the better of you.

[The dramatic decrease in Rhino numbers by the demand from Asian markets are frightening. Stats show that if this continues that the Rhino will be extinct as early as 2025. That's 2 years from now...let that sink in. If there's no more Rhino to poach, what is next on the menu?
We urge people to get onboard and donate to this cause...we don't want to show the next generation our Rhino in a museum]

Jy is altyd positief, maak nie saak wat nie. Jy help altyd, al het jy geen tyd nie. Altyd reg vir 'n partytjie, maak nie saak of jy water moet drink nie, jy is daar. Sien altyd net die goeie in mense raak, maak nie saak wat hulle gedoen het nie. Dit is Lourah, my hartsvriendin.

Ons is so opgewonde vir die klein pienkvoet wat oppad is. Die tyd kan nou maar kom. Ons is almal reg!
