Growing up with a severe squint, I hated the camera but in the course of photographing and filming hundreds of women since 2004, I’ve learnt that every one of us is beautiful in our own unique way and that we can all shine on camera once we learn the skill set. This led me to create my online Brand Stars Academy. In addition, my husband Dave and I have co-owned Outdoor Video & Photographic since January 2001, providing expert ground and aerial photography and videography to our valued clients, including the likes of the JHB Stock Exchange, Nedbank, Old Mutual Property and Yamaha SA, among many others. A view from my run this morning. I never regret pausing to take a pic, especially to celebrate golden hour light, even if it impacts my Strava performance 😆 Do you like to take moments to pause too, and record them on camera? It’s often best to shoot with the sun behind your back but it can be magical to face towards it and play with the light that shines through trees for example.
