Each booking for safaris - photographic or custom fuels a noble cause – part of your fees goes directly to conservation.

Ndzengha male - while his brother is recovering from his injuries - and yes he is recovering - this boy is holding the fort… amazing to see how he patrols around where his brother is lying and healing. This morning we followed him while ons his territorial stroll. Sniffing the air he heard and smelled wild dogs making a kill and started making his way towards it. Amazing how absolutely incredible these animals are - he stopped and rested giving up the chase … when over the radio it came that hyenas stole the kill and there is nothing left.
We often think that these animals need our help to survive - and when in actual fact they have been surviving for years and years without our assistance. On natural instinct
What they do need from us is to keep their spaces wild - to help protect these areas from poachers, snares and syndicates catching these animals for trade. And grow natural moving wild spaces …. Territory

When the hyenas started moving away we finally got to see him leaving his leafy green restaurant but he did not linger. Jumped off and ran the opposite direction of the hyenas and we decided to leave him be…

Xidulus’s 2 cubs!
And what a sighting this was… mom stashed them to go hunt… while waiting we heard the impalas going crazy! They rush off to go look but no mom, no impala and they came to rest on the most beautiful dry stump in stunning light. Just sitting looking out for her return… hopefully she has some luck and food for these two tonight

Hlambela! The great Ravenscourt offspring… and one can see why. Even just as a flat cat sleeping off his warthog meal you can see the big paws and good genes passed onto him. Hope he establishes himself well and truly in this area.

Found her after her kill was stolen by hyenas looking for so@ething else… she stalked, jumped and success! A little field mouse!
Hyenas found her again and after starting up a tree she decided to rather turn and run and we let her be for now…

Morning game drive Elephant Plains Game Lodge started off with early morning roars. Announcing the PCMales arrival. We followed them scent marking, eventually settling for a nap after the long territorial patrol.
