Recently I went up to Jozi for my very good friend Rose-Ann's 30th and I baked both her Cask Smash cake and her birthday cake.
Many of you won't know that I am a photographer too - though not my full time job - Cake smashes is one of my favorite things to shoot!
I had a lot of fun doing this shoot and of course making the cute little "ice-cream" cake that I made for her to smash, not to mention it survived the flight to Jozi! lol

About the cake:
15cm chocolate cake, layered and filled with caramel and covered in fondant and topped with buttercream to look like ice-cream in a wafer basket.

SNEAK PEAK!!!!
I had the absolute privilege and honor to capture the memory of this amazing couple's first baby's pregnancy.
We battled the typical Cape Town gale force winds and we managed to get a few awesome pics....more to follow!

Sneak peak!!!
I got the opportunity to photograph this little man's 1st birthday cake smash over the weekend. He wasn't too interested in his cake though and he seemed very wary that we were tricking him. ;-) lol but we did get some really awesome pics.....which will follow soon!
