What made you decide to become a wedding photographer? I love fairytale endings and I love everything about Weddings. Being a Wedding Photographer gives me the privilege to capture the intimate and best memories of your wedding day. At the end when all the photos are done it is such a joyful feeling looking at the Precious memories that you have captured. Nothing is more rewarding than this! What do you enjoy most about being a wedding photographer? The best part of being a Wedding Photographer is when you go through the end product with your clients, to see the happiness in their eyes and to see them reliving the moments of the day through your photos. This is something that they will be holding on to for the rest of their lives. These photos will be shown to their children one day, to all their friends and family! Where do you get your inspiration from? The one thing I love about doing weddings are the spontaneous moments. Moments that aren’t planned for or posed. The expression on the face of a caring father giving away his daughter at the altar. The look on the face of the Groom when he sees his bride coming down the isle…this is my inspiration. The day inspires me as it happens. Every wedding is different, every couple is different and this inspires me to do every wedding differently, new challenges, new moments and new memories. What other types of photography do you enjoy? I enjoy doing studio type photography as well as family and couple shoots outdoors. I love taking my couples to a beach or a park and just capturing their special moments that they share in a natural environment. I also love photographing animals!! Getting them to sit still or do what you want them to do is a bit more difficult! Best advice that you can offer a bride? Enjoy your wedding day! Don’t worry or stress about what might go wrong on the day. A lot of brides work themselves up on what might be going wrong, and then they don’t enjoy every moment of this. This is the one day that you must enjoy every moment, from getting ready up and till you go to bed that night. How would you describe your style? I have a more contemporary style to my photography. I like my photo’s to be a bit different, to have a good balance of color and contrast. I love capturing intimate moments in a location where the background compliments the photo. My goal is to take the photo’s so that it would look natural, not like the couple was posed. I also love action shots, where everyone might be jumping or running. But this also depends on what the clients would like. What do you think makes you different from other Photographers? I would love to believe I am different because of the way I create my Photographs. The way I compose my shot and create the romance. I have also been told that my bubbly personality makes people feel more comfortable! I am so passionate about what I do that it sometimes makes me so excited and that makes me talk a lot!! I think it is very important to have a photographer that you feel comfortable with, someone that will make you feel relaxed so that your true personality will show on all the photo’s.
