Good morning, church! We greet you all in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a blessing to be in the presence of God once again. We believe that today God has a word for each and every one of us. Open your heart, prepare your spirit, and expect God to speak to you. You will not leave the same way you came.
TOPIC: THERE IS STILL LIFE IN YOUR SITUATION
Ezekiel 37
[1] The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.
[2] He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.
[3] He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”
[4] Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!
[5] This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
Ezekiel 37 reminds us that God is able to bring life into situations that look completely dead. Ezekiel was taken by the Spirit of the Lord into a valley full of dry bones. The bones were very dry and from what Ezekiel could see there was no sign of life. Yet God asked him Son of man can these bones live? Ezekiel answered Sovereign Lord you alone know.
There may be situations in your life that look like those dry bones. You may look at your dreams, your family, your finances, your relationships your ministry or your future and feel that nothing can change. You may feel like you have waited for too long and that everything has become dry. But remember this there is still life in your situation because God is still able to breathe life into what looks dead.
God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones and speak the Word of the Lord. This shows us that God does not need a situation to look promising before He begins to work. He can speak life where there is no life, hope where there is no hope, and restoration where everything seems lost.
Do not allow what you see today to make you believe that God has finished with you. What looks impossible to you is not impossible for God. The dry bones did not remain dry when the Word of the Lord was spoken over them. God began to bring them together and He brought breath into them until they lived again.
Your current situation is not the final chapter. There is still life in it. There is still hope. There is still a future. God is able to revive, restore, rebuild, and bring back to life what you thought was finished.
So keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting God. Even when you cannot see the change yet, remember that God can make dry bones live again. What seems dead in your life is not beyond His power. There is still life in your situation.
