Its always when you let go of looking that the bush gives you what you need.

After a great morning, making our way back home we bumped into this female finishing off her meal.

And after waiting patiently with enough room to allow her to settle with the vehicle, the little ones popped out. Still very cautious of the vehicle but enough to get a glimpse.

Life moves to a different rhythm on trail, sunrise becomes your wakeup call. Days spent moving through the shared space and its inhabitants.

To be around such a different collection of species than what is the norm was an incredible experience. Gemsbok, Springbok, Eland, all specialists for the environment they call home.

Walking wild places shows that Wilderness is not a specific place, it carries through ecosystems, borders, and species.

The Kalahari Trail was a whole new environment, the same wilderness that we carry everyday in a brand new setting

After endless attempts, finally got an Emerald-spotted Wood Dove to overcome its shyness and sit still in the most perfect light.

The presence of a Leopard is always something you feel in the space shared, we value it for its scarcity.

An absolutely incredible predator, able to adapt to almost every habitat, from forests to mountains to the savannas we traverse

Nothing quite like a classic Lion walk by

We'd been following another member of the pride contact calling when we heard the reply coming closer.

Spotted this female in the side-mirror coming our way. We pulled off the road to allow her space to move and it delivered beautifully.
