Photographing my own family can be SO frustrating. I just want those beautiful memories too, but somehow my kids and husband never follow instructions!

So this time, I gave up on the matching outfits and perfect poses.

Just them. Having fun, being silly and being themselves.

And honestly… these turned out to be some of my favorite photos.

I’m not really a wedding photographer, but every now and then a couple comes along who makes you want to capture their story.

Stephan & Carmen were more than happy to simply elope and get married at court. For them, it was never about the big wedding, it was about being partners, loving each other, and spending the rest of their lives with their best friend.

Their families had other plans, and in less than three months, a beautiful wedding day came together.

We kept the photography simple and true to them, their ceremony, quick family portraits, some beautiful intimate moments, and finally, just the two of them.

A beautiful day celebrating two best friends choosing each other.

A little Dr. Seuss magic at SAVF Phalaborwa!

This personalized setup was so much fun to bring to life! Behind every themed photoshoot is so much more than what you see in the final photograph planning, designing, creating, setting up, adjusting and all those little details that make the theme come together.

And honestly… this is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

I get to take an idea, get creative and turn it into a little world for children to step into and I absolutely love it!

Dear Phalaborwa Clients,

I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your incredible love, trust, and support over the years. It has truly been a privilege to capture your special moments, and I am so grateful to have been part of your lives.

I would like to let you know that I have relocated to Tzaneen and will now be based there.

This is not goodbye forever! I will still be returning to Phalaborwa for my annual school photography sessions at our agreed schools, and I look forward to seeing many of your familiar faces again each year.

Although I am starting this exciting new chapter in Tzaneen, Phalaborwa will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for your continued encouragement and loyalty. I truly appreciate every one of you.

I hope to see you again soon, whether in Tzaneen or during my yearly visits to Phalaborwa.

Matric Dance 2025 — this one was absolutely one for the books, and one of my proudest moments was when I started seeing the final results come together.
This is a shoot, I felt truly honored to capture to the best of my abilities.

Daniela looked like she stepped straight off a magazine cover elegant, confident, and completely stunning. Her black dress gave such a timeless, high-fashion “posh girl” look, with amazing make-up done by her own mom, what a privilege!

Choosing my favorites from this shoot was honestly so difficult… every image felt like a winner, but choices had to be done!
