2027 Bird Photography Workshops

In February next year I will be partnering again with an incredible professional team of Mario Paul of Wild Photo Africa Safaris and Wild Birding Africa to present an dedicated Bird Photography workshop in Kruger National Park.

All of the team are qualified field guides with specialist birding knowlege and also I will be a dedicated photographic instructor with the guests on the back of the Open Safari Vehicle giving realtime information and training.

We will also have daily Theory and Image review sessions.

We are also registered members of the Kruger Safari & Tourism Association

JUST DO IT !!!!

This is the best Roosterkoek and beats Tshokwane and Afsaal folks, by some margin.

We had the bush toastie AND Chicken Mayo for lunch with a lekka coffee

⚠️ Incredible Crocodiles ⚠️

Today again I saw something worthy of a Wildlife Documentry at the Shingwedzi Causeway.

Roughly 7-10 medium sized "muder logs" "fishing" as the Shingwedzi River is still flowing after this years rains.

They would swim into the current hot spots and wait for any fish to get washed over and grab it. The fish are small but they kept on doing it over and over again.
Have you seen anything like this in the Kruger before?

So many people say a photo tells a story......

I have always wondered how you get what you saw and felt with just one image that is like so many others across digital space.

Well technology is making this possible in a way I never have thought possible.

The image is an original taken in the Sabi Sands with a DSLR, the rest well incredible use of technology.

Birding in the camps in Kryger can be very rewarding. This is amazing moment when one of my favourite birds with those YELLOW feet were relaxed and feeding a few meters away with many visitors walking past without giving them a second glance !
