Tour one will be a Namibian experience not to be forgotten, for we will be visiting the Red Kalahari Desert, Quiver tree forest and playground of the giants. Our travels will take us to the coastal town Lüderitz for an opportunity to photograph the half-forgotten Diamond town Kolmanskop. Please note that at night the stars come out to be photographed, and fear not we will be guiding you on the techniques should you need assistance.
Our trip will take us to Sesriem and Sossusvlei including dead valley for spectacular photo opportunities among the oldest dunes in the Namib desert, followed by a trip through the barren desert landscapes to the Coast and Swakopmund nestled between the cold Atlantic Ocean and the Golden dunes of the Namib, rounded off with a guided tour into the Dune veld to find that it is actually a living Desert.
We don’t intend that you only see dunes because we will drive to Damara land where we will find the unique Damara Desert Elephant, Rock-formations, Rock-engravings and much more. Our experience to the hinterland will take us to the vast Etosha National Park for an experience on the way that wildlife lives and thrives in these harsh conditions.
No visit to Namibia will be complete without a visit to Erindi Private Game reserve, for game drives and recap of our joint experiences.
Tour two, will focus on the wildlife in and around the Kruger National Park. 6 Days within the park for the sole purpose of finding and photographing the Big 5 (Lion, Rhino, Buffalo, Elephant and the elusive Leopard) the small 5, the beautiful 5, and yes the ugly 5. Birders there are more than 500 different bird species in Kruger National Park. Our wildlife photographic tour will start with a visit to a private Game farm, then a private Game lodge in the Thornybush section of the Greater Kruger, before we will enter and stay at, Letaba, Satara and Lower Sabi rest-camps within the Park.
The advantage is that we can enter the park early morning before to many other tourists make restful photographing a bit more difficult, the same applies in the afternoon, when those not staying within the park has to leave early.
We will let our photographs do the talking.
