It began with a name that carried a face, a surname, a pair of steady hands behind the camera. Joshua Lotz Photography was personal, honest, and rooted in the early days—learning, growing, showing up, and saying yes before we felt ready. It served its season well.
But seasons change.
Over time, the work matured. The vision sharpened. Photography became less about who stood behind the lens and more about why the lens was lifted in the first place. Every frame started with purpose. Every pause, every click, every edit was deliberate. Nothing rushed. Nothing accidental.
We realized our work was no longer defined by a name—but by an approach.
Intent Photography was born from that realization.
This name reflects how we see the world: moments are fleeting, but meaning is not. We don’t chase trends or noise. We wait. We watch. We feel. We capture with care—because stories deserve respect, and memories deserve intention.
The rebrand isn’t a departure from the past; it’s an evolution of it. Same heart. Same values. Same commitment to people and their stories. Just a name that finally says what we’ve always practiced.
Intent Photography is who we are now—and where we’re going.
Focused. Fully present. Intentional.
