Jesus is full of Grace and Truth
The Word of God is the hinge upon which my faith has its mobility, the Word of God is like steroids for my spirit, it is redbull for my faith
As God's vessel I see that Grace without truth is meaningless and Truth without grace is Mean but Grace and truth is medicine for our soul as believers. Because Jesus is full of grace and truth, Jesus is our redeemer that when we sinned he came save us never gave up on you. He came to his own and his own disowned him but still went to the Cross because of his Love for mankind
I know am powerful because I can get on my kneels and pray to King Jesus the King of Kings God all powerful.

Peace and Reconciliation

EPHESIANS 2:1-22

Peace is a word that sums up all the blessings Jesus brings to our lives. Christ came and preached the possibility of ‘peace’ to everyone. Jesus is seated, after his resurrection, at the right hand of God, as prophesied in the psalm for today (Psalm 110:1). Being seated implies rest and peace. You died with Christ, were buried with him and have been raised with him and are now seated with him in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6). You can enjoy his peace and rest as you go about your daily life.

Paul describes life without Christ in these terms:

‘dead in your transgressions and sins’
following ‘the ways of the world’
‘gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts’
‘objects of wrath’
‘separate from Christ’
‘outsiders to God’s ways’
‘foreigners to the covenants of the promise’
‘without hope’
‘without God in the world’
‘far away’
separated by the ‘dividing wall of hostility’
‘strangers or outsiders.

Paul describes the difference that Jesus makes in these contrasting terms:

‘raised up with Christ’
‘seated with him in the heavenly realms’
‘God’s masterpiece’
‘created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do’
‘brought near through the blood of Christ’
‘reconciled to God through the cross’
‘access to the Father by one Spirit’
‘fellow-citizens with God’s people’
‘members of God’s household’
‘a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

The contrast between the prior alienation – from yourself and from God – and the peace and reconciliation that Jesus brings, could not be greater. It is Jesus who makes the difference. You are made alive with Christ. You are raised up with Christ. You are saved through faith in Christ. It is in Christ Jesus that you are brought near. It is through Jesus that you have access to the Father by one Spirit. Jesus Christ himself is the chief cornerstone of the new temple, the church. The only command that Paul gives in this passage is simply to ‘remember’ this amazing transformation that Jesus brings to your life. So often we can forget that being a Christian is all about what Jesus has done for us, and get caught up in what we are doing. This passage helps you to stop, remember, and give thanks to your amazing saviour for all he has done for you.

Lord, thank you for your great love for me. Thank you for the utter transformation you bring to my life.

PROVERBS 13:20-14:4
Respect
A culture of respect underlies the book of Proverbs. We see three examples in this passage:

Respect for the Lord
‘An honest life shows respect for God’ .The word ‘fear’ is probably best understood as ‘respect’. Respect for the Lord is the starting point for respect in all our other relationships.
Respect for the wise
‘Whoever walks with the wise grows wise’ 'Wise speech evokes nothing but respect’ .Our society increasingly devalues the wisdom that comes with age. Wisdom often (though not always) comes through the experience of a long life. There is a huge amount of untapped wisdom in older people.

Respect in the home
‘A refusal to correct is a refusal to love; love your children by disciplining them’ .This teaching has sometimes been abused by an over-literal interpretation. What the book of Proverbs is encouraging is a culture of

respect in the family – respect for parents and also respect for children, which involves loving discipline.

Lord, help us to gain wisdom and to model good family life, combining love and respect.

Prayer is a key way to develop a relationship with God by speaking with him. There is no set way to do this. There are hundreds of different prayers in the Bible. Sometimes, it is helpful to follow a pattern (such as the Lord’s Prayer). Another pattern that I have found helpful is using the mnemonic ‘ACTS’. These elements are often found in the prayers we see in Scripture.

The context of this psalm is fear – possibly the fear of premature death. David may be facing illness or deep despair. He fears that he might die in disgrace and go down ‘to the pit’ (v.1).

His prayer to God includes the following:

A: Lord I adore you
‘Praise be to the Lord’ (v.6a); even in the midst of a difficult situation, David chose to praise God. Whatever the circumstances, praise God for who he is and what he has done. We see another example of this in the New Testament passage as the people worship Jesus (Mark 11:9–10).
C: I confess
‘Hear my cry for mercy’ (Psalm 28:2a); ask God’s forgiveness for anything that you have done wrong. This is also a moment to forgive anyone you need to forgive. As Jesus says in todays’ New Testament passage, ‘When you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins’ (Mark 11:25).
T: I will give you thanks
‘My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him’ (Psalm 28:7c). Thank God for health, family, friends and so on. The importance of thanksgiving can also be seen in the Old Testament reading for today (see Leviticus 7:12–15).
S: Hear my supplication
‘… as I call to you for help’ (Psalm 28:2a). Pray for yourself, for your friends and for others. Interestingly David says, ‘I lift up my hands’ (v.2b). This seems to be almost synonymous with prayer. Hands raised in worship is not a modern idea; it is actually one of the most ancient forms of prayer.
Lord, I adore you. I worship you today. Praise be to the Lord...
I confess my sins to you... Hear my cry for mercy and forgive my sins.
I will give thanks to you for you are good. Thank you, Lord, for…
Hear my supplication. Today I call on you for help…
