Fraser & Christine’s wedding at The Cruin on Loch Lomond couldn’t have been a more perfect summer day.

With the sun shining, an outdoor ceremony overlooking the loch and some time spent on the water for their couple portraits, every part of the day made the most of this incredible setting. Their boat was such a personal touch and made the photos even more special.

The Cruin is a beautiful venue for a Loch Lomond wedding, and it’s easy to see why so many couples choose it. The views across the loch and surrounding hills create such an incredible backdrop for wedding photography.

Zoe & Adam’s wedding was such a special one to photograph. From the moment we met them for their pre wedding photoshoot, it was easy to see how happy they were together. Their wedding day was no different. So much laughter, so many smiles, and a couple who barely took their eyes off each other all day.

They chose the beautiful Brotherton Castle for their celebrations, with so many personal touches making the day feel completely their own. Everything came together beautifully and created such a lovely atmosphere from start to finish.

Congratulations again to the newlyweds. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.

Real, unposed wedding moments are what documentary wedding photography is all about.

These are the moments that can’t be recreated.

The laughter during the speeches. Happy tears from the people who love you most. A quick hug, a proud smile or a reaction you didn’t even know happened.

None of these photos were posed or directed. They’re simply real moments from Alannah & Robbie’s wedding at Eskmills, captured as the day naturally unfolded.

That’s what I love most about documentary wedding photography. Looking beyond the big moments and noticing all the little ones that make every wedding completely unique.

One thing we love about weddings is that no two ceremonies are ever quite the same.

Steph & Graeme had a couple of surprises planned for their guests during their ceremony at Balbirnie House.

The first was the wedding rings. Instead of having them ready at the front, they were hidden under one of the guests’ chairs. As soon as the celebrant announced it, everyone started looking under their seats to find them.

Later in the ceremony, another surprise. One of their guests discovered she had been chosen as a witness. The moment she realised why she was being called forward was such a lovely one to witness, and definitely an emotional one too.

Little moments like these are what make every wedding different. You can plan a wedding day, but it’s often the unexpected reactions that people remember most.

Claire & Kenny’s wedding at Venachar Lochside was such a lovely day to be part of.

Before the ceremony, they chose to do a first look in the gardens, giving them a chance to spend a few quiet moments together before the day began. Later, they exchanged vows outdoors overlooking Loch Venachar, surrounded by family and friends.

Venachar Lochside is a stunning Scottish wedding venue, with beautiful views across the loch and a fantastic setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony.

Steph & Graeme’s wedding at Balbirnie House was such a special day to photograph. So many great moments, lots of laughter, and a couple who were an absolute joy to be around from start to finish.

The weather changed constantly throughout the day, but Balbirnie House is one of those wedding venues that looks beautiful in every corner, whatever Scotland decides to do. From the interiors to the grounds around the house, there were so many lovely spaces for photos throughout the day.
