This is your sign to book a trip to Jackson Hole this fall. The wildlife is amazing and the fall colors around the Grand Tetons are absolutely stunning to see. Plus the national park are much less busy than during the summertime. It’s one of those places we continue to look forward to go back to in the fall.

Some of our Jackson Hole favorites:

Coffee and breakfast at Persephone every morning.

Jenny Lake -> Inspiration Point Trail -> Cascade Canyon (all one hike), if you arrive early enough in the fall you can also take the boat across Jenny Lake

Sunrise at Schwabacher landing

Taggert Lake Trail, option to add the loop to Bradly Lake as well

Hand Fire Pizza, located in the historic Teton Theater

Moo’s Gourmet Ice Cream

Delta Lake Trail - note part of this trail is not maintained by the NPS, so please to research and be prepared, download offline maps, it’s easy to get lost on this one as you have to climb thru a boulder field, and hike up a steep grade towards the lake. Another maintained option in this area would be to do the Sunrise and Amphitheater Lakes Trail.

We’ve built up our reputation so much that the first thing people ask us is “where is your next trip?” ✈️

The reason we are able travel so much is because we prioritize it. Here are 4 ways we do this:

1. We don’t buy each other gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, holidays. We’d rather take the money we’d spend on gifts and put it towards our trips

2. We travel during shoulder season, not only does this mean fewer crowds, but usually lower prices from flights to lodgings and luckily shoulder season is different everywhere so there are location options all year round.

3. We have flight alerts and track flight prices to know when the best time to book is. We’ve been using Going to do this for years. Plug in your home airport, and they will send you the best flight deals for you. Comment GOING and we will send you a link to check it out.

4. We use our PTO strategically to maximize our limited vacation days to allow us to travel 10+ times a year. Check out our pinned post for our 5 secrets to traveling more with a full time job.
