We started Bryson’s shoot on the darker side—silhouettes, heavy fog, and orange gels to create a moody, almost cinematic feel. Some of the simplest shots ended up being some of my favorites.

But Bryson had his own plans for how we were going to finish the shoot. 😂

He showed up with his own props: a plate of pancakes and syrup. 🥞

And for a football player, I think the message is pretty clear…

Put the quarterback flat as a pancake. 😂🏈

Of course, once the syrup came out, we had to take it all the way.

I love when athletes bring their own ideas and personality to a session. We can create the dramatic shots, but sometimes it’s the completely unexpected ideas that make a shoot memorable.

I met Brooklyn at the Montevallo vs. Prattville Christian game last week, and let me tell you—she has some SPIRIT! 📣🔥

Her mom, Haley, is a cheer coach for one of the youth football teams, and I recently had the chance to work with her on some banners for the team. I can’t wait to share those… more to come! 👀

While we were at it, Haley decided to get Brooklyn in front of the camera for some photos of her own—and I think she absolutely NAILED IT! 🙌📸

🏈 VINCENT vs. PLEASANT VALLEY — FRIDAY NIGHT! 📸

I’ll be on the sidelines this Friday covering the Vincent vs. Pleasant Valley game for the Shelby County Reporter.

Since I’ll already be at the game, I’m also opening a limited number of pre-paid player photo spots through Y1K Studios for parents who would like photos of their athlete.

First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone who approached me about the photos and took the time to share such kind words and compliments.

As a photographer, that truly means a lot. I’m pretty humble when it comes to my work, but hearing how much you enjoyed the photos honestly warmed my heart. I had a great time capturing these moments, and knowing you enjoyed seeing them as much as I enjoyed taking them makes it even better.
