“Can we bring our dog to our session?”

Always. Always a yes from me. 🐶

Golden hour, the sweetest belly bump, and her favorite flowers. 🌻🌻🌻 Couldn’t have been a more perfect evening.

I’m not ready for summer fun to end but I ammmm looking forward to fall weather - and more outdoor sessions like this. What do you think? Your family, me and my camera, a colorful blanket, evening sun and letting the kids be kids?

I’m thinking yes. 👍

August is when my Fall Newsletter comes out and that means fall mini session booking. I’m already booking full sessions and this is your heads up that minis will be pretty limited this year. Don’t miss the newsletter if you aren’t signed up! 😘

Every year I try to remind myself in October to throw some bluebonnet seeds out in my field but every year in October, I’m so busy that I forget. But THIS October….this one, I’m gonna remember and grow my own. And then yall can just come do photos at my house next spring. 😜

Speaking of growing things…sorry I haven’t been posting much. I’ve been filling all my downtime trying to cultivate a whole farm. Curious what I’m currently growing? Here’s the list!

Peaches
Figs
Blackberries
Blueberries
Strawberries
Grapes

I only do a handful of these sessions every year and it never feels like enough. Sunsets + bluebonnets just fit together. 💙

I have a love/hate relationship with Texas but in the springtime, when the hills explode with color and the skies do THIS…it’s just 100% love. Can’t help but want to do sessions every single night when Texas is this pretty. 😍
