Claire and Evan’s wedding day was like stepping into a secret garden. The stunningly coordinated colors matched with the delicate intentional details were making my photographer heart go pitter patter all day long. And honestly, the briefly brutal rain shower was pretty dang magical too.

Moments that weren’t on the “shot list” but are absolutely integral for telling the full story on your wedding day.

Something I think that gets forgotten in our industry is that while a GOOD wedding photographer needs technical skill and experience, they also need to have the unique skill of understanding PEOPLE.

Reading the energy in the room, connecting with the people at your wedding, tapping in on when more or less assistance is needed is just scratching the surface of what your photographer needs to focus on… on top of all the beauty of your wedding day.

It’s A LOT going on at once, but it’s one of the best parts of the job IMO. I love being able to blend into your wedding day seamlessly to allow for you and your guests to really shine through your photos.

Julianne and Sam’s wedding day was JAM PACKED with unique personal touches. I’m talking custom stickers, handwritten notes for each guest, a “wooder ice” truck, mini golf, and a freaking piñata wedding cake just to name a few!

They really thought through every single detail to make sure their guest experience was top notch. Quite literally a perfect day.
