Three times I’d normally reach for my phone, without actually reaching for it. 👓 I’ve been using my Meta AI glasses while cooking to get answers hands-free, listening to music on my walks with open-ear audio, and capturing little moments from my POV without stopping to pull out my phone. Fall baking season is officially here 🍂🍪 There’s something about the first cool days of the season that makes me want to turn the oven on and bake something warm and cozy.

These Whole Wheat Oatmeal Cookies from King Arthur Baking Company were exactly what I had in mind: crisp around the edges, soft and chewy in the middle, and packed with oats, nuts, and dried fruit. They’re made with King Arthur Golden Wheat Flour, which brings the nutrition and fiber of whole grains with a lighter, milder flavor. An easy way to power up a classic cookie without giving up everything you love about it.

Definitely adding these to my fall baking rotation.

Summer recap of 2026 ☀️

Every year, I tell myself I’m going to take summer slow. And every year, I somehow end up feeling the pressure to create, post, engage, work full-time, keep learning and growing, and be a present mom while having a child home for 12 weeks with no school.

By the end of summer, I’m usually exhausted.

This year, I decided to care less about keeping up and more about being present. When I was with Anouk, I tried not to reach for my phone to check Instagram, edit something, or think about what I should post next. I just wanted to be there with her.

Being more present was one of my intentions for 2026, and I’m glad I actually made some progress on it this summer.

These photos are a little recap of those 12 weeks: house projects we tackled, places we traveled, food we made, parties we threw, and time spent with family.

I may have posted less of it while it was happening, but I think that was the point. 🤍
