Most of the crazy colorful springtime buds here in the Denver area popped a week or so ago, which is obviously WAY too early… and is definitely a whole entire issue that obviously needs to be addressed. 🙃

With that being said, I also really didn’t want the flowers to come and go without snapping some photos in front of them. It would have been such a waste! Sooo I borrowed my super cute bestie, Moriah, and brought her to the park to update her headshots. 🧡🩷

There may not be as many flowery spots around town now, but things are turning green and I’ve got a long list of places we could go for outdoor headshots if you need them! Send me a DM to book.

March is Women’s History Month… and today is International Women’s Day! So I’m taking a break from the hockey game to share some of my favorite ladies… as a reminder that our stories have always mattered, even when they weren’t always centered.

I am a woman, mother, and small business owner. And I have been endlessly inspired by the strength and resilience of the women around me. By their gentleness, and their rage too. I’ve been inspired by all of the women out here running businesses, raising families, chasing dreams, and holding it all together when it feels like the world is falling apart.

Let’s raise a glass (or a joint, or whatever else floats your boat!) to each and every one of the women who came before us, the women standing beside us, and the little girls growing up watching us show the world what we can do.

Colorado has decided to skip right over winter this year, and to give us an early spring instead! ☀️ 💐

With that being said… Springtime usually brings lots of proposals along with it, and I just happen to know someone who would love to capture that moment for you! It’s me! 🤣 I could be a fly on the wall and shoot from afar (like I did here for Shawn Marie and Mina), or we could work together to turn an already-planned couples session into a sweet surprise for your partner. This has been my favorite session of the entire year so far… Hands down. ☺️ These are the lovely souls that were inside of the ghost sheets that I shared with you a couple of weeks ago! I am so lucky to know them and to call them my friends. I was so happy that they were down to play ghosties - but I was even more excited to snap a few photos of them just as they are (in the flesh!). Would you just look at these cuties?!

What could possibly be better than a set of twins at a family session…? TWO SETS OF TWINS! 🤩

These kiddos did a great job of following all of my silly little posing instructions, and the lighting was so good that we nearly ran out of it. Aaand we were even able to recreate a family photo that they’d taken years before and it turned out perfectly! 10/10

So happy with the outcome of each and every one of my Fall Minis this past month. Thank you, to each and every one of you who booked with me! I can’t wait to see how we’ve all grown by this time next year. 🍁🐿️

👻💕 These spooky silly little specters let me follow them around while they haunted a local park and played in the creek, and we had so much fun! I wasn’t even a little scared… I swear!

This specific photoshoot has been a dream o’ mine for a few years now, and it literally couldn’t have gone any better. I was half-joking when I mentioned it to a friend… And she just happened to be making these incredible patchwork ghost costumes for herself and her partner to wear for Halloween! 🎃🐦‍⬛

I take A LOT of family photos, friends. But I only share a very small portion of them here - this is a choice that I made last year, in an effort to protect the privacy of your little ones. I will never ever post images of your children’s faces without being given permission. Because safety first!

With that being said… I was VERY excited when this mama said that I could share a few (faceless) photos of her adorable little twinny boys! ✨ Children have a way of finding magic in everything that they do, and it was super fun to watch these two play together during their session! We got so many great shots without even having to pose those guys. ☺️

“Chelsea made me feel beautiful for the first time in my pregnancy…” 💕 “…nothing about the poses or smiles felt forced or fake…”

Before we ever start taking photos, my goal is to help you feel good about things - to give you time to take a deep breath and shake out the nerves, and to let yourself be celebrated in this season. Pregnancy isn’t always comfortable… but your photo experience should be! ✨

Halfway through our session, this mama was laughing, glowing, and fully embracing her magic. And that’s exactly what I hope for every parent that I get to photograph! You deserve a session that feels natural, and images that feel like you. So I’ll be here to help you with maternity & newborn photos, whenever you’re ready. 👶🍼

As we come up to the end of the 2025 wedding season, I felt like it was only right to wrap this month with one last wedding post… So I found a few of my favorite little moments from Angela and Carlos’ beautiful backyard wedding last summer!

We’re starting off strong with the baby bunny who hopped all the way up the aisle during their vows. Precious. 💕
Then we’ve got this sweet bride wiping her new husband’s tears… plus a bonus smooch! 🫣🤣
And of course, we have to have a detail shot of the ring. Because would you just look at it?! 💍

I loved getting to follow all of you from one journey to the next, and being invited to help you capture those moments in time is so special to me. I love that THIS is my job. And I love each and every one of you too…

Last year, I got to celebrate these two as they said “I do!” And then this past weekend, Karen reached out to see if we could secretly recreate some of her and Martha’s favorite wedding photos for their anniversary. So of course I said I do, too! 😂 The weather certainly gave us a run for our money, but we made it happen… And we laughed the whole way through. These two are absolutely the main characters of their story, and I love getting to be there to help them tell it.

The best kind of clients are the ones who come back for more. 💕 It’s such an honor to grow alongside you guys and to capture your milestones year after year. Here’s to love, laughter, and more magic to come.
