We'll have artisans bringing pottery, wood crafts, dried flower art, vintage curated finds, goat milk soaps, leather goods and more. Plus come hungry for sourdough goods, baked goods, honey, and our delicious coffee truck!

Add to that will be our wildflower trail, u-pick flower field, animal encounters, and plenty of nature to enjoy all morning long. Come ready to find a place of peace and rest and enjoy local products!

Happy September, y’all! ♥️

I’m starting something new around here, encouraged by a few photographer friends, and we are calling it our Monday Happy.

A simple way to start a new week by looking back at the last one and sharing something that made me happy. And I’d love for you to join me — please share your own Monday Happy in the comments!

Number one on my list: getting to go on my first high school field trip with my 9th grader. I did a little happy dance when there was a “yes I can chaperone” box to check. 😆

How I have a high schooler, I have absolutely no idea. He was just in kindergarten! Somehow, the years have flown by, and now I’m tagging along on field trips with a kid who is entirely too grown up. He’s doing a kind of hybrid homeschool this year so I’m a little more left out of his day to day than I’m used to. So it made me happy to get a peek into his world. It was one of those ordinary-but-special days that I’m so glad I said yes to. 🤎

I am so proud to call Kenzie a friend. I admire her so much for talking openly about postpartum mental health on 16 WAPT News tonight.

I know this subject has been on our minds a lot lately, but the truth is, it’s nothing new. Anxiety and depression are things we’re often embarrassed or even criticized for sharing, but at some point, most of us will have our own experience with a mental health struggle. Whether personally or through someone we love.

Kenzie is an amazing mom to her boys, and I’ve had the privilege of watching her family grow from pregnant with her first to now loving on number three. ❤️ I’m so proud of her for using her voice and sharing something that so many moms need to hear!

The thing I keep thinking when I look at these images is that this is what photos are supposed to do.
Not just show what you looked like that year, but make you feel something. There is something about photographing someone in a place that feels like them that makes an image come to life.

Years from now, we may not remember exactly what was blooming or what you wore, but you’ll remember this version of her. The things she loved! The places she loved. All the little details that made this season hers.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that THIS is flower season and I have a few openings next week, and I would love to create something meaningful with you and your people! Families, Seniors, Couples, Kiddos, Headshots or just for you!
