Going forward, I will only be responding to calls, texts, emails, and social media messages during normal business hours, which are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The only exception is if we have a session scheduled outside of those hours and need to communicate about your session.

Lately, I’ve been receiving messages and calls as early as 5:00 AM and as late as 11:00 PM. While I do use Do Not Disturb, I also want to set the expectation that messages sent outside of business hours will be answered the next business day.

As a small business owner, I love being available for my clients, but I also have to protect my personal time. Like everyone else, I need time to sleep, eat, spend time with my family, and step away from work. I’ve had a few situations where people were upset because I didn’t reply immediately to messages sent very early in the morning or late at night.

Thank you all for understanding and respecting this boundary. It allows me to show up as the best version of myself for both my clients and my family, and I truly appreciate your support of my small business.

Your couples photoshoot doesn’t have to be about an engagement, anniversary, or another big milestone. It can simply be about spending time together.

Stepheny and Josh made an evening out of it. We met at Fernandina Beach for sunset photos, and afterward they headed to dinner together. Instead of just another date night, they now have beautiful photos to remember it by.

One of my favorite things about couples sessions is that they can be built around the things you genuinely enjoy doing together. Start with a beach walk before dinner, grab ice cream afterward, wander your favorite downtown, catch a movie, take your boat out for sunset, paint pottery together, visit your favorite coffee shop, or do something that’s meaningful to your relationship.

The best photos usually come from real moments. Your photos should look and feel like the two of you, not like you’re checking another item off a list.

Today I got to travel to Steinhatchee, Florida to photograph a family while they were vacationing for scallop season.

This trip ended up being so much more than just a photo session. My mom and dad came with me, and it’s so rare that it’s just the three of us anymore, so getting to spend the day together made it even more special. We got there early, had dinner at Fiddler’s, stopped by Sea Hag Marina for a couple of new t-shirts, and then headed to my session. They even helped me get some behind the scenes videos while I was photographing my clients.

Steinhatchee has always held a special place in my heart. Growing up, we spent so many summers here, and every year we’d count down the days until school got out so we could come scalloping. Being back brought back so many memories, and getting to combine those memories with something I love so much made today one I’ll never forget.

I’m incredibly grateful for opportunities like this that allow me to travel and capture such meaningful moments for my clients. I’m even more grateful for family who have always supported my dream, encouraged me every step of the way, and still don’t hesitate to come along for the adventure.🤍

I’m Whitney a photographer in Nassau County Florida based in rural Hilliard. I specialize in family, couples, and maternity photography. My style is colorful, dreamy, and warm. My goal is to not only give you beautiful photos you will treasure forever, but to give you a great experience as well.

Before your session I will help you pick a location, outfits, and go over and specific shots you want. Then during your session I will pose you from head to toe, but don’t worry we will do some fun prompts for more candid photos too. I like to incorporate a good mix of both so you have plenty to choose from in your gallery.
