Norris:
✅House broken
✅Great on a leash
✅Playful & energetic (future dock diver, running partner, agility competitor?)
✅Thrives in a home environment
✅Good with cats
Norris, a vibrant 4-year-old pup, arrived at .pet.pals in the summer of 2023, eager for a loving family to call his own.
His high energy levels require an active family who can match his exuberance and provide the mental stimulation he craves. Norris loves attention and loves people.
Norris is very calm and well behaved in his kennel. He is house broken. He does well on a leash. During playtime, he can be very vocal - and entertaining! A home without small children is recommended due to his high energy level. Older children are fine.
He recently spent a few days in a foster home with our trainer at Up N Atom Dog Training and we learned so much about who he is outside the shelter.
In the house, Norris was a total gentleman. He enjoyed playing with his toys and getting a little silly, but he also knew how to settle. He calmly hung out while dinner was being cooked — no pestering, no bad manners — just happy to be nearby.
Evenings were spent relaxing on the couch, and at bedtime he slept quietly through the night in his crate. He also loved spending time in the yard, soaking up fresh air and playtime.
This short foster stay showed us what we already believed: Norris can absolutely thrive in a home. He’s adaptable, respectful, affectionate, and ready for his next chapter.
If you’ve ever wondered how Norris would do outside the shelter — this is your answer.
