The Queen Anne’s County Independence Day Celebration is back on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 (Rain date: July 2nd – fireworks only) at the Chesapeake Heritage & Visitor Center in Kent Narrows!
Enjoy an evening filled with family fun:
- Free activities including face painting, balloon twisting, bounce houses & a photo booth
- Live music by Southland
- Food vendors, sweet treats & cool drinks
- Coolers welcome (no alcohol permitted)
Fireworks begin around 9:15 PM
Bring your chairs, blankets, and friends for a fun-filled community celebration!
Chesapeake Heritage & Visitor Center: 425 Piney Narrows Road, Chester, MD
Parking opens at 5:30 PM at the old outlets parking lot
Shuttle service begins at 6:00 PM & Event activities begin at 6:00 PM
