My journey into photography kicked off when I was a young girl and my dad handed me my very first Minolta camera. I was hooked from the very first click! This was back in the days of film, so I had to learn how to pick the right ISO for different lighting situations. Without a screen to check if the lighting or posing was right, I had to dive deep into learning and improving.
I launched my career in the early 2000s, focusing on natural light family sessions. Then, I was asked to cover a beach wedding, and that was it—I was completely hooked! I took the responsibility seriously, ensuring I had the right gear, a backup camera, and extra film. I shot film weddings for many years, and that experience is something today’s photographers, who haven’t used light meters and film, might not fully appreciate.
As my career blossomed over the years, I dove deep into mastering posing, lighting, composition, and creatively capturing my clients’ love stories. I want all my couples to feel confident and beautiful, trusting that I’m capturing their wedding day the way they envisioned it! So on wedding day, I bring my A-game, pouring in my time, knowledge, talent, and organizational skills. The joy and satisfaction of delivering stunning images and knowing I’ve preserved precious memories for my clients— now that’s my WHY!
