One day when you look back on this season of life. You will think wow that was such a short time. Soak it up. Every little moment. Lean into what each day has for you. Don’t rush it by. 💕

This little wedding at Burritt on the Mountain was one of my favorite things this year! It was so unexpected and out of the blue! And so beautiful!! This whole family was wonderful! This couple was phenomenal! And getting to know them was one of the highlights of this month! 🥹💕

I have been working on so many sessions, and a wedding that’s due date is coming up!!

But I wanted to take a moment and post this beautiful session, that is also so personal to me!!

Some of you know, that my dear friend and fellow photographer Melissa of Raising Little Sisters Photography, was diagnosed with stage four Follicular Dendritic Cell Sarcoma, a rare and agressive cancer. She is not giving up, and we serve a God who is bigger than this disease. We are believing for healing in Jesus name!!

I was given the honor of capturing these last minute family photos for her and her beautiful family, because her hair had begun to fall out due to the aggressive chemo treatments she has started. And the time to shave her head was instantly upon her.

We were able to get together and get these memories captured for them, something for her to hold onto in the midst of so much loss!

I was honored to capture again how much love this family has for one another! 💕💕

I love you so much Melissa, and I can’t wait to see what God does in and through your life!! 💕

Literally tears running down my face as I type this up. 🤍

✨🤍

Some of us read books about how men look at their women. As a reader myself, I have read so many books about romance.

It is a rare thing where you get to witness that look in real life. ✨

That look that says you are my whole world. It ends and begins with you.😭

It is a rare moment where you have a moment to witness the kind of love people write about. 🥹

The way Matt looks at Melissa is something that is always an honor to witness, and an incredible honor to have captured.

First of to my little community , I want to thank you!
Thank you for being here after all these years, I would not be where I am without you! 🥹

A few years ago, I slowed way down to have my babies, and soak up the tiny years.
To a degree I still am, but slowly I am adding more available time and space for more sessions.

And to that point, I have decided to add some spring minis this year! 💕

I have an idea of when I am looking at, some time in May, though I don’t have a date locked down.

The plan is for them to be at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. 🪴 eeekk 🤗🤗 I am so excited about these!! So I wanted to go ahead and put it on you radar!

In the next coming weeks I will be sharing details as I have them, so stay tuned for that.
I will create an event with the mini session booking link, when I get the date locked in and announced!

I am looking forward to these!! 🥹💕

It will be first come, first serve, so if you are wanting to hold a spot, drop your email below and I will you the link to book a hold! 💕😌

Feel free to share to stories, reshare, and help me get the word out! 😍

Warmly,
Ivory Hazel Photography
