We’ve decided it’s time to list our building for sale. This decision did not come easy, but we’re grateful for the time we’ve had in this beautiful historic building. If any potential buyer is not ready to buy, we are offering the option to lease.

We purchased this building in 2015 so we could open up a storefront photography studio on the square in downtown Jefferson, IA. And although we’re selling the building, that doesn’t mean our photography & videography business is going anywhere. We’ve just found that a lot of our sessions are on location & not as often using the studio itself, so as beautiful as the space is, it’s time to let it go.

Built in 1885 this commercial storefront building has nearly 9,000 sq ft of flexible space on three levels. In 2017 we did a facade restoration that returned the front of the building to its original design, and the interior was remodeled in 2015.
The 3,100 sq ft main-level storefront and loft is finished, move-in ready, and currently home to a photography and videography studio. It includes two bathrooms and a kitchen area with a 240-volt outlet (installed in 2019). It would suit retail, professional offices, a studio, salon, gallery, or restaurant concept.
Beyond the finished space, you get room to grow: a 590 sq ft connected garage, a 2,310 sq ft full basement with concrete floors and built-in shelving, and a 2,900 sq ft unfinished second floor. The second floor is reached by a historic exterior staircase, and the original freight elevator runs down to the garage.
