We were beyond excited when we found out Josh and Kady were gonna have another baby, and that Delilah would become a big sister! To go from growing up in the same small town and going to high school together, to later moving to the same city and becoming friends as adults, and now raising kids at the same time has become a true joy. Congratulations, Carsons, on your beautiful family!! Graham is a gem. 🫶🏻

Between moving out of our house for renovations and dealing with sick kiddos I’ve been a little off my usual posting game for recent sessions, but I wanted to share some highlights from Matt an Emily’s lovely wedding last weekend! They were incredibly lucky with their 70 degree spring day, considering the next day dropped to 12 degrees with harsh winds (hello Kansas). I couldn’t have asked for a better first wedding of the year - the bride and groom were so relaxed, and was as usual a lovely space to celebrate in. Congratulations, Emily and Matt!! Thanks for letting me capture your day. 💛

This time of year always provides a much needed rest from the busy fall photo season, and any sessions I do have are of the cutest new babies who have graced us earth-side. Meet Frances, my first client of 2026 (along with the rest of her adorable family)! She’s the chillest baby sister, and already well-loved and cared for by her older sibs. 💛🥹

Nothing got these big brothers as excited as showing off their construction mound, but showing off their new baby sister did take a close second. Baby Sutton is joining a pretty cool group of siblings and I can tell she will be well-cared for. I’m so honored to have documented the start of her life! Also swipe to see the cutest little baby fist. 🥹

At the start of the year, I was a little bummed I didn’t have any births on the docket for 2025. I’m thankful that not only did I get to photograph one, but TWO births this year, and it continues to be my favorite. Last week I got to photograph Sutton’s entrance into the world, and I also got to work with my doula (Amber Stewart - she’s awesome!), which was extra special. Jordan knew exactly what she needed in order to not only relax during her labor and delivery, but to fully enjoy it as well. And Daniel did a fantastic job providing physical and emotional support throughout it all. They did a beautiful job ushering baby #3 earth-side, and I’m so thrilled I could be there to help document this life-changing moment for them. 💛

I’m always grateful when a couple suggests a location I haven’t been to in a while, and I get to rediscover the magic it has! Loved walking around Prairie Park with Emily and Matt last weekend, soaking in the fall vibes, and getting to meet their pup. I can’t wait to capture their wedding next year!

I’ve rarely experienced a wedding where I’ve felt so relaxed through the entire day, but Kylie and Michael brought such a calming and grounded energy that the whole thing felt smooth like butter. Also I completely lost myself in the jaw-dropping florals they had. 😍 Congratulations to the newlyweds on a stunning and heartfelt celebration!!
