Senior year is hard on everyone.

It asks a lot of you, big decisions, goodbyes, new beginnings, and a future that somehow arrives all at once.

The student? Stressed.
The parents? Emotional.
Doggo, the OG Jellycat? Finally getting his moment after years of loyal service.

From bedtime stories to homework meltdowns to dreaming about the future, Doggo has been there through every chapter.

So yes, Doggo came along for senior pictures.

Because no matter how grown up we become, there's something beautiful about honoring the little friend who was there through it all.

Some friendships really do last forever.

NEPSAC III 2026

Athletes carry far more than the weight of competition. Behind every race, game, meet, and practice are countless unseen hours of sacrifice and commitment, early mornings, late-night drives home, studying for exams in hotel rooms, finishing projects between events, balancing work shifts, family responsibilities, and the constant pressure to keep showing up. A season is never defined only by victories. It is built through the wins, the losses, the heartbreak of DNFs, the exhausting practices no one applauds, and the resilience it takes to return the next day anyway. Every athlete knows the quiet fatigue of giving everything they have while still trying to be a student, a teammate, a sibling, a friend, and a person finding their way through life.
But long after scores are forgotten and medals are packed away, what remains are the connections formed along the journey. The teammate who sits beside you after a grueling loss without needing to say anything. The family member waiting with a hug, encouraging words, or simply steady presence after a difficult day. The small moments become the lasting ones, sharing a snack on the bus ride home, braids, helping pack equipment while others are still competing, or finding a quiet moment of clarity while lacing up your spikes before the start. It’s the hug and tears over the fence after a tough loss that reminds you that your teammates are far more important than the wins. Those moments make champions. Championships may mark a season, but compassion, loyalty, and the way people show up for one another are what truly define it.
