I remember when Travis and I were dating and these girls (his nieces) asked me if we were gonna get married 😂
They were so little then.
I cannot believe how grown up they all are now. Honestly, how does time go so fast?

None of my kids have cell phones or call watches yet.
But I know there are kids are school that do. It's been interesting because I've realized I cannot relate to these experiences since I didn't get a cell phone until college, and very few kids had cell phones when I was in high school.
I don't like not being able to relate to my kid's experiences in this way, ha ha! It's hard enough to parent when you can relate, but now there's just so many DIFFERENT situations that didn't exist when I was their age.
How old were you when you got your first cell phone??

We've had our struggles with kids hating school and taking them in kicking and screaming, it's really no fun and so hard for both kids and parents.
Hoping that if you're in the hard, there's light at the end of the tunnel and you have the support you need. 🫶🏻

The countdown until school starts is on.
I always have mixed feelings about the end of summer.
I think this will be the hardest transition we've had due to the fact that we finally let the kids stay up later, and they've now been sleeping in for once in their lives. 😅
However, after this last weekend, I truly think I'm finally ready to get back to that routine...
