TOY CAMERA COMPETITION TIME!!!
I would like to announce an open call for photographers to enter work in "Peace of Plastic" held at Mixt Media Arts in Long Beach. The deadline is June 20th and it is an open theme contest. Like Plasticity, (which I was unable to get the time to organize this year) we will let the audience vote on their favorite image and the single image with the most votes overall will win all the prize $$$... It is $1 per entry and the more that enter the bigger the pool.
The contest is open to film and digital images shot with a plastic lens (NO CELL PHONE PHOTOS)...

Opening night will be June 22nd at Mixt Media Arts
322 Elm Ave., Long Beach, California 90802 from 4pm-9pm. All votes will be counted at 8:30 where the winner will be announced that night.

The gallery will NOT be open for pick up today, but it will be open next weekend.. Tonight at Jones Studio Gallery there will be an opening for a show of WWII bomber nose art... Come in support if you can from 7-11...

We let the audience of Plasticity document all three nights the show was open with a 0.3 mega pixel Fisher-Price Kids Tough digital camera. The images are priceless!!!
