My brother Mike and I made it to Quito,Ecuador late last night.🙏🏻It’s going to be another great adventure …in this great country!💯👍🏻Here are some of our old friends we hope to see again…during the next two weeks.🙏🏻We are also hoping to make some new pals🤗…with the help of great guides💯…and dear friends😉… like Alejandro Guerrero . We are going “off the grid” on Wednesday.😬 I’ll post as I can.😳 Stay tuned…as we’re hoping we get lucky. 🍀

This Cooper’s Hawk came through yesterday morning…hunting crows.🫢😬 He was seriously focused…flying low to the ground…stopping a couple of times…on his mission.😳Lucky for me and my Nikon Z8.☘️ I’m happy to say Mr. Cooper was not successful🤗…and the crows were happy, too. 😉👍🏻😎

The American Crow…big, loud, and sometimes cranky.😡 However, they can be quite handsome…and dare I say, dashing.😉 With the right light and a little bit of luck, Mr. Crow offers us a nice image…once in a while.🤗 Hope you have a great Sunday…my brother, Mike and I are packing for our trip back to Ecuador on Monday.😍 He has put together a great adventure for us…birds, wildlife and some new places with great birds…Yippee!!!🙏🏻👏🏻👍🏻❤️

Our Coopers’ Hawk has been visiting the last couple of days.😬 I think he’s checking out our summer offerings…and keeping everyone on their toes...especially the Black Crows.🫢 When Mr. Cooper shows up, late in the afternoon, my Crow crew runs for cover.😳He pays no attention to our squirrels🤗…which is probably why I have a gang of smiling squirrels😎…or it could be the salt-free shelled peanuts from Publix. Those little guys love ’em!😉

The always awesome Mourning Dove.😍 Every day my Doves show up…eat a nutritious meal, drink a soda (they only like Zero sugar Mountain Dew)🫢…jump in our cool pools on a hot day.😉Wonderful moments to enjoy and hopefully capture…like this one, late yesterday afternoon. As the sun was going down, this beauty flew through the shadows. Nice.🤗 I’m a lucky guy…very lucky☘️…and very grateful.🙏🏻 Hope you have a great weekend planned, loaded with fun.🎉🍷🍺

The action is non-stop in Maitland.🤪 Yesterday, I was able to capture this Brown-headed Cowbird flying in to meet up with her friend, Mr. Red-winged blackbird.😍 It was another special moment🤗…in my backyard.🙏🏻 Lucky☘️…again.😉

This Brown Thrasher came zooming through yesterday😳…trying to catch with a couple of his Thrasher pals.🫢 These Brown beauties…at least 4 of them in their crew…have been showing up early🤗…and staying late.😉They are usually well-behaved😇 but when we run a 2 for 1 “adult beverage” promotion at our pool bars…all bets are off.😈All is well, though…as we haven’t had any one hurt…yet.🤕Have some fun today🙏🏻…my Thrashers are having a blast every day.🎉😎

My brother Mike found a couple of awesome Northern Flicker Woodpeckers flying around the wetlands at the Apopka Wildlife experience during our last visit.🤗They were having some fun before lunch.😉The Flickers are dang quick😬and very camera shy🫢…unless you get lucky…like I did.☘️ Of course, with the help of Mike!👍🏻Thanks Mike! 🙏🏻

This Fulvous Whistling-duck family had a good time together…enjoying their breakfast in the Apopka Wildlife wetlands.👍🏻 The kids were adorable😍…as they looked for something to eat.😉 A nice moment to see🤗…and photograph.🙏🏻❤️
