Last week, for Milwaukee Food & City Tours, I lead a walking tour for a group of Girl Scouts, who were visiting Milwaukee!
We looked at murals (by Tia Richardson), we talked about the history of Milwaukee (especially how long the suffragettes fought to win women the vote), saw (on IG) play the guitar and sing; we talked about how haunted the Pfister Hotel is and met Sasha Kinens (the artist in residence), climbed six flights of stairs in a parking structure to see City Hall and the Obey Giant mural, VOTING RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS, AND we saw the GERTIE THE DUCK statue by the Milwaukee RIver. All in all, it was a darn great hike around Milwaukee Downtown!

I had a great time last week, at the preview of the , at .agency. Ken Hanson, Jack Davidson, and Dave Myszewski have been working for many years to put together a about this under-recognized American .
All of us in attendance got to see a 20-min preview of the nearly-complete film. The production team is looking for help and support to get their film over the "finish line" and out into the ! It was a darn fun night and I got to meet Art's son, who was there making many photos of the event, just like I was!

Am downtown at the PAC, getting ready to make photos for one of my fave clients and friends: City Year Milwaukee!
You might not know it, but CY is an org that got abused by a certain administration’s decision to gut USAID.
CY works hard and with great passion to improve education outcomes in the US. Why would any administration seek to defund them??
