3 years ago I witnessed one of the meanest supercells of my life near Slapout, Oklahoma. The colors were unreal, the structure was menacing, and every mile closer made it look even more intimidating. 🌪️⚡

⚠️ HIGH-END SEVERE WEATHER THREAT TODAY ⚠️

Illinois and Indiana are facing the potential for significant severe weather later today. 🌪️

An intense line of storms is moving through the region this morning, but if the atmosphere can recover behind it, conditions may become favorable for dangerous thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes, destructive winds, and large hail.

Residents across the region should closely monitor forecasts and have multiple ways to receive warnings today. 📱⚡
