Starting today, I will no longer post identifiable images of children on my public page, signed release or not.
A recent federal appeals court ruling highlighted a major gap in digital privacy laws regarding AI and images. It showed that our current legal framework simply isn’t equipped to protect children from how generative AI can scrape, alter, and misuse their likenesses once posted publicly.
Until our laws align with keeping kids safe online, I cannot in good conscience post their faces. I’m going to miss sharing full family sessions.
You will still receive all your full, high-resolution photos in private galleries to share as you choose. On this public page, I’ll be shifting focus to only post the adults, details, and non-identifiable shots of a family session.
