When checking the surf this morning I saw a family of kill deer trying to cross the road. Unfortunately, three out of the four did not survive, but I was able to save one. It’s nesting season and not only a couple inches tall. The babies are very hard to see so try to keep an eye out when traveling around the national sea shore.
