Fall has been so busy but I’m so glad to have so much to look forward to. Here’s to one of the last weeks of October!

4. Homemade Earl Grey rose scones that people have been coming up to me gushing about ☺️

6. Homemade sourdough with some herby compound butter from my garden slaps
7. My friends got married at the Warhol 🥹

9. ippa_pgh is great, go get a Sammy

Had ippa_pgh twice in the last 4 days so it’s clearly been my comfort food lately in the busy season of the year. You really can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Their new special lately is the pot roast and their short rib sandos are always 💯

Been a whirlwind couple of weeks! Here’s a recap:

1. Pumpkin pancakes made from NYT recipe
2. Made a chocolate raspberry cake for my friend’s birthday
3. Top Pot & KBBQ PGH dinner with some great gal pals
4. Checked out Second Story Spirits and loved it
5. Been hitting the emotional support udon hard because October is busyyyy
6. Commonplace Coffee is so cool and I might really be in my coffee era, which Peter would’ve loved!
7. I have 7 weddings this year and a majority of them are this month! Made my Earl grey rose scones for cookie tables!
8. A lovely wedding in Cranberry, PA with amazing dinner from bar marco
9. Saw giant pumpkins but it was underwhelming and felt like LIDs
10. Amazing fall spice latte that’s a Pittsburgh Coffee Week special at De Fer Coffee & Tea - it’s Pittsburgh Coffee Week this week!
11. Little soosh and onigiri
12. I gotta admire the flora and fauna of the season

Another fun spooky pop-up to add to your list is the Nightmare Bar happening right at Eleventh Hour Brewing Co. in Lawrenceville! The decor is so fun and they have fun drinks like these syringe shots! There’s fun games and activities and prizes. Definitely check them out on your Halloween bar crawl around Pittsburgh! You can get tickets online as well!

Another Halloween pop-up to add to your bar crawl list is the House of Burton at Mixtape ! The decorations are rad and they always have fun activities, weekly events, and a fun drink menu. Tickets are available online or at the door!

If you’re looking for a fun, Halloween pop-up bar around town, the best one you’ll find with an incredible menu of drinks is the Spookeasy at the Omni William Penn Hotel

These drinks are all handcrafted with house made ingredients and are so creative! We tried all of them and honestly loved them all, but the standouts were the Witching Hour and the Devil’s Due! The Witching Hour is a spiced orange c***r with Hennessy and the Devil’s Due is basically a margarita with a red w**e float.

Check them out downtown, they open this weekend!
