That’s real life in the newborn season.
And it’s exactly why I keep sessions slow, cozy, and focused on snuggling, not “staying perfect.”

I can tidy up little spit‑up marks in editing later.
Your only job is to hold your baby close and be present for the tiny, fresh details.

A few things you can officially release during your family session:

• The dirt on your “nice” outfit when you scoop your child up for snuggles
• The smudgy cheeks, the snack crumbs, the mystery streaks
• Even the boogers 🙃

If your kid is laughing and the moment is perfect, keep playing.
I’ll worry about the little details later, yes, I can clean up boogers and tiny messes in editing.

In‑home newborn or studio newborn, both can be beautiful.

Home feels personal: your spaces, your rhythm, your everyday light.
Studio feels simple: warm natural light, soft textures, a calm little bubble.

What to pack for beach family photos:

A towel.
A blanket.
Wipes (always).
A snack for kids and a snack for grown‑ups.
And a plan to embrace the wind: dress in layers so that you can cozy up if the wind is cold!

Beach are very active with running, playing, snuggling close when the breeze picks up.

Some newborn details I love: Flaky skin. Tiny scratches. Peeling fingers.
Little signs of a brand‑new human settling into the world.

I photograph the sweetness, and I can soften tiny distractions in editing when needed.
