Iโ€™ve waited to share Kailyn + Duncanโ€™s wedding because I truly didnโ€™t know where to begin with the words.

What started as an instant connection from the moment Kailynโ€™s inquiry landed in my inbox turned into something so much more than a photographer-client relationship. Somewhere between working our day jobs together, a trip to the Mackenzie-Childs Barn Sale, countless random texts, and all the moments in between, I gained a really special friend.

So when their wedding day finally arrived, it felt different. Getting to stand behind my camera and document a day this important for people who have come to mean so much to me was something Iโ€™ll never forget.

And what a day it was โ€” the sweetest moments, so much laughter, happy tears, the most beautiful summer colors, and one VERY good dance floor.

Kailyn + Duncan, thank you for trusting me with these memories and for letting me be such a small part of your story. I couldnโ€™t be happier for you both.
