Sarah + Matt brought their sweet pup, wandered through the park, chased the sunset by the lake, and simply enjoyed being together. Those are always my favorite sessions because the moments you donโ€™t plan for are usually the ones youโ€™ll treasure most.

If youโ€™re worried about being โ€œawkwardโ€ in front of the camera, hereโ€™s your reminder: you donโ€™t need to know what to do. Thatโ€™s my job.

Iโ€™ll guide you every step of the way while giving you plenty of space to laugh, walk, talk, steal a kiss, and just be yourselves. By the end of the session, it wonโ€™t feel like you were posing for photos, itโ€™ll feel like you spent an evening together, and youโ€™ll have beautiful memories to show for it.

I had over 1,000 photos from Ali + Eliโ€™s dayโ€ฆand narrowing these down for Instagram felt like an impossible task. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Every time I thought I had my favorites picked, Iโ€™d find another moment I couldnโ€™t leave out.

Thatโ€™s the art of noticing, though.

Itโ€™s the teary smile before the ceremony, the way the light hit Canandaigua Lake during their first kiss, the quiet glances in between the big moments, and the absolute joy of dancing under the tent with all of your favorite people.

A wedding day is made up of thousands of tiny, fleeting moments, and my favorite part of this job is noticing the ones you didnโ€™t even realize were happening.

Ali + Eli, your day was timeless, joyful, and so full of love. Thank you for trusting me to tell your story. ๐Ÿคโœจ
